SHOOTER ATTACK CERTIFIED FILM

When an attacker shoots at a standard window, the glass will shatter instantly, and the intruder is inside in seconds. The added layer of shooter attack film protection slows down the active shooter and allows emergency response teams more time to arrive at the scene.

There are many “security films” sold in the U.S., but Armoured One is the only one that has passed a test method created by subject matter experts called Shooter Attack. The Shooter Attack test was perfromed by FILTI and All testing was 3rd party observed. That means that every other film sold is not going to protect you from someone with a gun. Every competitor window film will rip very easily after a hole is pierced in it.

SHOOTER ATTACK CERTIFIED GLASS

One big step towards security that many schools and businesses are taking is the installation of security glass in windows and doors. This is designed to slow down or deter an attacker from gaining entry with force or a gun.

Be leery of companies that claim to have “bulletproof” window film, or even “bulletproof” glass. Bulletproof does not exist, and it definitely doesn’t exist by adding film to your standard glass. Armoured One makes no claim to be bulletproof. There is only bullet resistance. Companies claiming to add their security window film to standard glass and making it bullet-resistant is a lie and a marketing scheme.

Armoured One’s Security Glass is the first glass to be tested with a standard based on the history of active shooters and is the first glass that has passed testing using the Shooter Attack Test Method.

The Defendr™ Door System

Masonite Architectural has partnered with Armoured One to create an attack resistant door opening called the Defendr™ Door System. These door system components work together to add valuable time for occupants to react and police to respond by delaying an active shooter from entering a room.

The Defendr™ Door System is designed to be affordable, allowing for specification and installment in more openings—because every school deserves a higher level of protection. Our goal was to also keep the same aesthetics that would bring comfort to our children. We do not want our schools and businesses to look like a prison. Our other goal is to make the heightened security less noticeable to the attacker. If the attackers know or see security measures, they will plan around them. We want to disrupt the attacker and ruin his plans to injure and kill.
